A recent survey by the Conference Board showed executives’ major concern was about “speed, flexibility, and adaptability to change.” Unfortunately, many have tried to address these issues but have gone about it in the wrong way. Management by fear does not improve productivity. It has the opposite effect. It angers, alienates, and disenfranchises the workforce.
