Tangela W. Johnson is the
creator of Business Writing Made Simple and the President of Tangela W.
Johnson Consulting, LLC. She has successfully worked as a consultant and
trainer for the last 12 years. She is also an adjunct faculty member at
Dalton State College and was dubbed one of DSC’s “most popular
instructors” (Dalton Daily Citizen News). She
started her career in the insurance industry, and moved from there to
Vice-President of a medical software company.
Tangela is passionate about helping adults unleash their true potential
through change and education and has developed and presented dozens of
workshops to hundreds employees from various departments such as human
resources, information systems, customer service, claims, engineering
and manufacturing. She’s a dynamic facilitator and keynote speaker who
also designs leadership, communication and customer service workshops
that are practical and relevant to the needs of her clients.
As a consultant, Tangela is dedicated to helping businesses create high
performing work environments. A high performance company has a culture
of accountability, excellence, and teamwork. She works closely with
leadership to develop an environment where employees are empowered to go
the extra mile to improve products, service and quality; all of which
positively impact a company’s bottom line. Tangela’s common sense
approach to business, her communication expertise, commitment to
excellence and integrity, give her credibility and long-term
relationships with her clients. Her number one priority is to help her
clients be successful.
Tangela has a bachelor’s degree from The University of Georgia in
Broadcast News, a Master of Arts degree in English from The University
of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and a Mini-Certificate in Small Business
Management from Dalton State College. She received her Certified Medical
Practice Executive Certification from The American College of Medical
Practice Executives. She is a member of the Marketing and Management
Advisory Committee for Dalton State College’s Technical Education
Division. She is a member of the Dalton Rotary Club where she serves on
the Public Relations and Membership Committees. She is a facilitator for
the Rotary Leadership Academy, and a United Way volunteer.
Tangela loves spending time with her wonderful husband, John, of 15
years and beautiful daughter, Caylor who is a first grader.
