Affiliate Program FAQ
What is an affiliate program?
An affiliate program allows site owners to earn income by linking to
other sites that sell products. When a purchase is made as a result of
this link, the site owner earns a commission.
What do I need to be an affiliate?
There are several ways to generate sales. You can send an E-mail to
your contacts referring them to my websites or to sign up for my
newsletter. You can put a text ad in a newsletter you publish. Finally,
by placing a banner ad or picture of one of our products on your website
is a great way to generate sales. Once you join, we provide you all you
need. It is just a matter of cutting and pasting. Once they click on the
ad and return to our site to buy something, during the next four years,
you get credit for the sale and earn a commission.
When do you pay your affiliates?
We write you a check at the end of any month where you've accumulated
at least US $50 in unpaid commissions. We pay by PayPal or by check.
We really want to pay you, because we know that'll motivate you to
promote our products even more -- and then we both win.
Affiliates outside the United States must have a PayPal account to
be paid. See below to open your account.
What do you pay your affiliates?
CYC International pays 25% of the total sale on most items. (not including tax and
shipping). And if other affiliates sign up through your links, you earn
15% on whatever they sell.
What if my visitor doesn't accept cookies?
Studies have shown that only 1% of browsers these days are configured
to reject cookies, so the chances of that are small. But the presence of
the cookie on the purchaser's browser is necessary to track the sale
back to the Affiliate link.
Who Can Become Affiliates?
We
welcome international affiliates. We pay in US funds, and will try to
observe your preference for payment, either by check or PayPal. We are a
Verified PayPal Member.
Residents of more than 50 countries can set up a PayPal account. But
in certain countries you can also transfer funds from your PayPal
account to a local bank account, making international money transfers
easy.
We prefer to pay by
PayPal. It can be quite convenient, even if you live in the US.

receive commissions via PayPal.
How do you track sales from links?
When your visitor clicks on a link or banner on your site, our
affiliate management software records the information in our database
and places a cookie on your visitor's browser. If the visitor ends up
purchasing a product within four years, that cookie alerts us -- and you
-- of the sale.
What if the visitor clicks on another Affiliate link to the Merchant
site after clicking on yours?
The most recently traveled link gets credit for the sales commission.
